Mr. Shubham Ajit Deshpande is the founder & chief contact lens consultant at Deshpande Eye Care Center.
He is also a consultant optometrist & co-manager at Deshpande Optical, Kolhapur.
He has completed his bachelor’s in clinical optometry from Nandadeep Hospital, Sangli.
Mr.Shubham has also completed his (PG) post graduate Masters degree from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. Along with it, he has completed his advanced training in scleral & PROSE lenses from L.V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad.
He holds an expertise in fitting special types of contact lenses in the most complex corneal diseases and eye conditions. Along with it he has a strong inclination towards orthokeratology (a non-surgical natural process of overnight vision correction with ortho-k lenses) & Myopia Control, low vision care and rehabilitation for those whose vision is poor, and vision therapy for children with poor vision in one or both eyes.
